The Junior League of Macon has been impacting our local community for more than 80 years. We provide funding and trained volunteers for local projects focused on women, children, and poverty.
By providing quality volunteer opportunities for our members, as well as placing trained volunteers in the community, the Junior League of Macon seeks to be a force in improving the lives of women, children, and those affected by poverty. To learn more about our volunteer efforts, please visit our Community Partners page.
Each spring, the Junior League of Macon selects our Community Partners for the following League year. This selection process is conducted after months of researching and evaluating Macon's greatest needs in the areas of women, children, and poverty. Our Community Impact Project Committee then plans and implements our community service events and in-kind donations with these partners. Typically, the Junior League of Macon has two project partners and one in-kind partner.
Committed to bringing attention and awareness to the needs of women, children, and impoverished individuals in Macon, the Junior League of Macon is available to speak to organizations on these issues, our programs, and how others can better serve these groups. To schedule a speaker, please email jlm@jlmacon.org.
The Junior League of Macon is committed to developing leadership and volunteerism in women through training events and volunteer opportunities provided throughout the year.
Fundraising is a huge part of our effort to better our community. Through the funds raised, we are able to provide trained volunteers for community projects. Please email funddev@jlmacon.org or visit our Support JLM page to learn how to donate to the Junior League of Macon.
